How Buy Now, Pay Later Works
Buy now, pay later (BNPL) lets you receive your order straight away and repay over a short period. Clearpay is a separate company, and you repay it rather than us.
Clearpay
Clearpay offers pay in 4 in the UK: you pay 25% at checkout and the remaining three payments are taken every two weeks. There is no interest on the standard plan, but late fees can apply if a payment is missed.
What Changed in July 2026
From 15 July 2026, BNPL products from providers such as Clearpay came under Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulation. For agreements taken out from that date, the changes include:
- Providers must check that you can afford the repayments, even for small amounts. These are usually soft checks that other lenders cannot see.
- You get clearer information upfront about what you owe, when payments are due, and what happens if you miss one.
- If you miss a payment, the provider must contact you and point you to free debt advice.
- If a complaint cannot be resolved with the provider, you can take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
- For a single item priced over £100, the provider can share responsibility with the retailer under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. Our fragrances are each priced well under £100, so this protection would not usually apply to a single bottle.

- You are not sure you can repay on the due dates.
- You already have other pay-later balances running.
- It is a bottle you could simply save for.

Returns and Refunds with Pay Later
If you return an item, the refund goes back through the provider you paid with, which can take longer than a card refund.
