A lot of Arabian perfumes are genuinely built for open-air wear and heavy projection — that’s part of the tradition. Great outdoors, less great in a small shared kitchen or a packed commuter train. Knowing which style of fragrance you’re actually buying matters as much as which notes you like.

Application matters as much as the bottle
One or two sprays to pulse points, not clothing, will always project less than a full application — even with a naturally heavy fragrance. If you already own something strong, that’s often the simpler fix before buying something new.
